Ander Carreño received his Ph. D. in computer science from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2022 getting the highest mark and the Cum Laude mention. After that, he joined the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM) where he currently works as a postdoc researcher in the area of Data Science inside the Machine Learning group. He is developping new algorithms for learning Bayesian classifiers in Federated and Cooperative learning scenarios. His main research interests are the development of probability based models to solve streaming problems, novelty and anomaly detection in streaming environments, and Bayesian modeling. Ander also received his B. Sc. in computer science from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2016 being the 1st rank of my promotion and obtaining the extraordinary end of degree award for his work on metaheuristic optimization. He was also invited to form part of the Bizkaia Talent excellence program. He obtained his M. Sc. in artificial intelligence from the Polytechnique University of Madrid (UPM) obtaining the highest mark in his M. Sc. thesis in collaboration with the Spanish Tax Agency, focused on finding tax fraud. In the 3rd year of his B. Sc. Ander joined Accenture to work as a programmer where he form part of a team of 5 experienced programmers that solved real world problems inside the improvement team.
